Trekking: Torrecilla |
![]() |
Description
At 1919m, Torrecilla is the highest
peak and star route within the Sierra De Las Nieves mountain range.
Starting at 1200m well trek through a large pine tree forest,
rapidly gaining altitude. After about an hours hard work we
come to a plateau from which the sights are second to none.
The rugged scenery, variety of plant life, and the sheer variety
of panoramic views make this route an excellent way to gain a
thorough knowledge of the Sierra De Las Nieves; even more so,
when it is covered in a blanket of snow.
Upon reaching the highest point in the whole province, we will
be able to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area. On a
clear day you can see the Rock of Gibraltar to the south and the
white washed village of Ronda to the west.
Barbary Rock Adventures offer a guided service for Torrecilla.
